Construction paused at Chicago migrant tent camp site

State officials have temporarily halted construction at the site of the city’s first migrant tent camp in Brighton Park, citing environmental concerns that came to light late last week. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency will review the city’s report before allowing construction to move forward.
