Flashback to when Joey Bada$$ sat down for an exclusive interview with VladTV, where he revealed when he got his first big break in music. The Brooklyn-born rapper says that after Jonny Shipes reached out to him on Twitter, and he realized how big of a deal the encounter was.
The “My Yout” rapper then explains how all the major labels were offering him deals after he dropped “1999,” but Joey says that he would need $9 million to sign.
