Back in 2012, Kendrick Lamar sat down with Page 31 to speak about the release of “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.” During the conversation, he revealed that Dr. Dre approved the album as soon as he turned it in, which is why one of the West Coast legend’s signature beats is not on the project.
