In this clip, Kurupt detailed making the song “New York New York,” and the subsequent fallout. Kurupt said the song was initially intended to be a tribute to NYC, however, many artists from New York didn’t find the song flattering. Moreover, the video shoot wasn’t met with any less hostility as it ended in gunfire. Kurupt said on the way back to LA, he along with everyone else, was more hurt and disappointed than mad at New York.
